the review:
He’s a man that has been around forever, crafting musical melodies that have struck the chords of many hearts. Not only does Dave Matthews resonate within teenagers, but adults as well with every feel good song that pours out of the talent that is the Dave Matthew’s Band.

It was a beautiful setting, an open stage situated in front of the water with opening seating exposed to the crisp summer night’s air. This was my third timing seeing him play and I will tell you, it never looses its charm. You still get the goose bumps when the lights dim and you hear the start of the guitars purring.

The show started with one of the best openings a band could ever do. A large curtain hung draped over the stage and the only thing that was visible were silhouettes of probably the greatest live performers you’ll ever see.

Each song was delivered with passion and precision. The audience erupted on their feet and danced in merriment as Dave had the ability to draw every single person in. The instrumental parts were mind blowing and the chemistry each band member had with each other made you want to fall in love with them all over again.

To keep it short and simple, you don’t need to know any Dave Matthews songs to have a good time at their concerts. It’s the feeling and the passion that elevates his music to the next level. He is a performer that every human being must see live once in their lifetime. If you want to see a show that is down to earth, laid back and exciting yet mind blowing at the same time, he is your guy. The first time I saw him, I only knew one song of his and yet, that one night changed my entire life.

In conclusion, with the success of their newly released album, there hasn’t been a better time to catch the skills they have mastered live. From Dave Matthews impromptu dance moves to chatting with the crowd, you can clearly tell that the man loves what he does. Isn’t that the beauty of it all?
